Anne Marie Hinrichs is a compassionate therapist who understands the many challenges a mother with a new baby faces. Anne Marie provides a nurturing, protective place for women to gain greater awareness of their own needs as a mother. She works with a mother to find solutions based on her individual needs that bring healing and symptom relief.

Anne Marie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Anne Marie has over 15 years experience in the mental health field. She completed her bachelors degree at Moravian College, and completed her graduate work at Fordham University where she won the Student Award for Clinical Excellence from the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work and graduated summa cum laude. Anne Marie acquired advanced clinical training in treating perinatal mood disorders through the Postpartum Stress Center and through Postpartum Support International. She is also certified in Loss and Bereavement through the Martha K. Selig Institute. Anne Marie is certified as a Focusing Oriented Therapist through the Focusing Institute in New York and is Certified through the Justice Institute of British Columbia in Focusing Oriented Therapy with Complex Trauma. Focusing is a deep listening approach that accesses a bodily knowing of the “whole sense” or “felt sense” of a situation which brings forward fresh steps toward wellness. Anne Marie's own experiences as a mother inspire her dedication to serving the needs of mothers and their families through all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood.
